Nursing credentials are
a full-time job.
Multi-state licenses
Compact states, travel nursing, PRN contracts — each state has its own renewal cycle, CE requirements, and content mandates. One lapse can end an assignment.
Caliber tracks every state license with state-specific CE breakdowns and sends renewal alerts before the deadline closes.
CE hour chaos
Texas wants 20 hours. California wants 30 with specific content categories. ANCC certifications need 75 CE hours over 5 years. These numbers don't match.
Each CE credit you log is automatically applied against every applicable requirement — state board, ANCC, specialty cert — so you always know where you stand.
ANCC certification renewal
CCRN, CEN, CNOR, FNP-BC — each cert has its own renewal window, CE category rules, and clinical hours requirement. Miss one audit and your certification is gone.
Caliber categorizes your CE by type and maps them against your specific ANCC certification's requirements, not just a generic CE total.
New facility onboarding
Every hospital, clinic, and staffing agency wants a different credential packet — same documents, different format, different order, different deadline.
Generate a complete credential packet for any facility in one click. Every license, certification, immunization record, and COI bundled and ready.
Travel nursing assignments
You're credentialing for a new hospital every 13 weeks. The same verification process, from scratch, every time — while working full shifts.
Your verified Caliber profile travels with you. One link sends your complete verified record to the next facility's credentialing team.
Skills cards buried in a drawer
BLS expires every 2 years. ACLS every 2 years. NRP every 2 years. The cards are somewhere — you think the desk drawer, maybe the car.
Snap a photo of any skills card. Caliber extracts the expiration date and adds it to your tracker. No more emergency recerts the night before.
Three steps. No paperwork.
Your credentials follow every assignment.
One profile. Every license, cert, and CE hour — verified and ready to share with any facility in seconds.
Questions nurses actually ask.
What CEU types does Caliber track?
Caliber tracks contact hours, pharmacology units, ANCC-accredited continuing education, state board requirements, and specialty-specific units (CCRN, CEN, CNOR, etc.). You upload once — Caliber categorizes and totals by type.
I'm licensed in multiple states. Do requirements differ?
Yes, and significantly. California requires 30 CE hours with specific content mandates. Texas requires 20. New York has entirely different categories. Caliber maps your renewal dates and CE requirements by state so nothing slips through.
When does Caliber start reminding me?
90 days, 60 days, and 30 days before any expiration — license renewal, CE deadline, certification, or DEA. You choose which alerts come by email and which are in-app only.
Does ANCC certification count toward state CE hours?
It depends on the state. Some states accept ANCC-accredited CE entirely. Others have mandatory content requirements (medication errors, infection control, cultural competency) that must be met separately. Caliber surfaces the specific rules for your state.
Can Caliber track BLS, ACLS, and other skills certs?
Yes. Snap a photo of any skills card and Caliber extracts the issue date, expiration, and issuing organization. ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC — all tracked in one view.
How is my credential data secured?
AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS in transit. Your credential documents never leave encrypted storage. You control who can see your verified profile.
I'm Mark, a PA-C in emergency medicine. I built Caliber because I was tired of losing track of my own credentials between shifts and contracts. Nurses carry more credentials than almost any other provider — multi-state licenses, ANCC certs, CE requirements by state and specialty. You deserve a tool that actually keeps up.
